‘Yes’ Is Also a Complete Sentence and Maybe the Secret to a Joyful, Exciting Life

A few days ago I wrote about how ‘no’ can be a complete sentence. The same thing is true about the word ‘yes.’ It too can be a complete sentence. If, for example, when Mary asked me if I were willing to bake cookies for the next day’s event I said ‘yes,’ I was obligating myself to bake or buy cookies.
